Platinum Together1. Treat other players with respect
Be welcoming to new players. Disagreement, honest criticism, competitive play and reporting a problem are allowed. Threats, targeted harassment, stalking, hate-based abuse, sexual harassment and intimidation are not.
Do not share exploitative or sexual content involving children, attempt grooming, request sexual material from minors, or facilitate abuse. Do not pressure another player to share private information, make payments or move to a private channel. Stop unwanted contact when asked.
2. Protect your privacy and everyone else's
Use a trainer name or alias rather than sensitive personal details. Never post another person's address, phone number, private messages, account credentials, payment information or identifying documents without lawful authorization. Do not threaten to expose them.
Ask before publishing another player's private conversation or an identifiable recording of them. Do not record or disclose material where doing so would violate law or another person's rights. Never ask someone for a password or remote access to their device.
3. Respect the agreed rules of the adventure
Agree on challenge settings, trading expectations and allowed modifications before playing together. Do not deliberately destroy another player's progress, misrepresent a trade, scam a player, or exploit a shared-world bug to harm others.
Randomizers and other options offered by the game are allowed where the world's rules permit them. Cheats, automation or modified clients must not be used to gain an unfair advantage in spaces that prohibit them, falsify records, bypass access limits or compromise other players. Report serious duplication, save or progression problems instead of spreading instructions for abuse.
4. Bring your own lawful copy
You must obtain your own official, lawfully usable copy of the Original Game. Platinum Together does not provide pirated game copies. Do not use project spaces to request or distribute unauthorized ROMs, copyrighted game files, decryption keys, or bundles that include them.
Do not direct players to piracy sources or tell them that owning a cartridge automatically makes any download lawful. Ask for help with supported Mod setup without attaching copyrighted game files. The Terms of Use explain the separate responsibilities of players and the operator.
5. Keep the shared service safe
Do not distribute malware, steal accounts, exploit another person's device, overwhelm servers, scrape private information, bypass technical access controls, or attempt to access a system without permission. A publicly reachable endpoint is not permission to attack it.
If you find a security problem, report it privately with the minimum information needed to explain it. Do not access other people's data, damage a system, demand payment under threat, or publish private credentials. Testing requires permission from the relevant system owner; these guidelines are not a general authorization to perform security testing.
6. Keep names, messages and support contributions appropriate
Do not impersonate the developer, another player, a rights holder or an official game company. Avoid hateful, threatening, sexually explicit or misleading names. Do not spam, run scams, solicit unauthorized payments or post unrelated advertising.
Support is optional. Do not shame, harass or pressure other players for choosing not to donate. When public recognition is available, choose a suitable public alias or “Anonymous member.” Do not use another person's name without permission.
Donating does not buy moderation authority, preferential enforcement, a promised release date or the right to break these rules. The Operator may remove an unsuitable leaderboard name without erasing any transaction rights the contributor has under applicable law.
7. Moderation and the right to deny service
We reserve the right to deny, restrict, suspend or end access to project-operated Services to the extent permitted by applicable law. Reasons include rule violations, credible risks to players or the Service, suspected fraud or infringement, evasion of restrictions, legal obligations, technical limitations or discontinuation of a Service.
Possible actions include a reminder, warning, removal of content, name change, chat restriction, removal from a session, temporary suspension or permanent ban. We may skip lesser steps when the conduct or risk warrants it; there is no guaranteed number of warnings.
We consider severity, context, available evidence, repetition and risk. Honest criticism and lawful reports are not grounds for retaliation. Moderation must not involve unlawful discrimination. A host may set additional lawful rules for their own world, but cannot authorize conduct that violates these guidelines on project-operated Services.
Do not evade a restriction using another account, device, identity or another player. A service ban does not cancel rights a separate software license makes irrevocable. The Terms of Use govern notice, review and surviving legal rights.
8. Report problems and request a review
Send player reports and moderation appeals to [email protected]. Include the relevant trainer name, approximate time, the affected space and a concise description. Share only evidence necessary for the report; redact unrelated private information.
For a moderation review, explain the action you are appealing, why you believe it was mistaken, and any relevant evidence. You do not need to donate to report a problem or request review. Do not harass the developer or other players, publicly target the reporter, or submit knowingly false reports.
We may be unable to share private evidence or guarantee a response time. If someone faces immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services. Project moderation is not an emergency service.
